More Info
This tournament's Rite of Passage "First Timer" event is intended to provide a fun learning atmosphere for new fencers who are just starting to compete. If you've been on the fence about competing before, or are an unrated fencer who wants a little more competitive experience, this event is for you!

This is a Bay Cup tournament. In addition to the host club event fee, the following Bay Cup registration fee is required:

$0 if fencer has a Bay Cup season membership
$20/event for single-event registration

The Bay Cup registration fee is waived for season members. Season membership is a better deal for those who plan to compete in more than 4 Bay Cup events over the course of the season. Bay Cup fees pay for medals, year-end prizes, administration, and tournament subsidies to defray referee and other operating expenses.

To purchase a Bay Cup season membership visit The Bay Cup website:

http://thebaycup.net/become-a-member/

Entry fee is $30 per event. A late fee of $10 will be assessed for registering at the door (total of $40).
Fencers who pre register for more then one event must pay registration fees for all preregistered events at the start of their first event.

Doors Open: 8:30 AM

The standard event format used for Bay Cup tournaments is one round of pools with 100% promotion to a direct elimination table with no repechage.

WAIVER:

By registering for the tournament, you as a participant, or your parent or guardian for participants under the age of 18, are confirming that you or your parent or guardian have read and are in agreement with the conditions of the waiver. Unless you choose to opt out by informing the organizers of the tournament, you are confirming your acceptance of the photo/video release by registering for the tournament.
